A recent study on the cultural and creative sectors in Uganda reveals that the associated policies and regulations are disjointed, and educational and training support programs lack adequate resources.

The research carried out by the National Planning Authority (NPA) highlighted insufficient funding and limited access to capital as key issues. Additionally, it pointed out that supporting products and services tend to be centered in Kampala, and noted a substantial deficiency in the promotion and presentation of Uganda’s creative offerings.
