Ant and Dec’s Revamped Wax Figures Make a Grand Return to Madame Tussauds Blackpool

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s wax models at Madame Tussauds Blackpool have been reinstated following some changes.

First introduced in 2016, the figures of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! host were removed for refurbishment in September and have since been reinstated at the Promenade attraction.

The Geordie pair, widely recognized as Ant & Dec, posed for the recasting of their wax models, which now feature a contemporary and fresh appearance.

The duo are showcased alongside relics from I’m a Celebrity, such as a Bush Tucker Trial sign, a winners wall, and items from the show.

Madame Tussauds in Blackpool houses over 80 meticulously created wax models, featuring celebrities such as Freddie Mercury, The Beatles, Sir David Attenborough, and Harry Styles.

Around 20 talented artisans at Madame Tussauds usually spend between three to four months crafting each wax figure, which involves over 200 precise measurements along with every strand of hair meticulously added by hand.

Jenn McDonough, the general manager at Merlin Entertainments plc, stated: “We are thrilled to have welcomed Ant and Dec’s wax figures back to their hometown of Blackpool.”

As beloved characters make their comeback, both tourists and residents have been looking forward to this moment with great enthusiasm, and we can’t wait for guests to witness their refreshed appearance.

Ant & Dec initially encountered each other as young performers on CBBC’s series “Byker Grove” and later joined forces as musical duo PJ & Duncan.

The pair has gone on to work as TV hosts, and they now front shows such as “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!”, “Britain’s Got Talent”, and “Limitless Win”.
