Korie Robertson, his daughter-in-law, broke the news through a Facebook post on May 26 (in Australian timing).
“Hearts are filled with joy as we commemorate today that our dear father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now reunited with the Lord,” she expressed to her supporters.

After some time, you just end up thinking, well, I have to do my best and be a pillar of support. That’s essentially what we’re trying to do for my dad,” he explained.
He remarked, “We’re ensuring he’s at ease, and we’re giving it our all. That’s simply what needs to be done.”
In December, Jase initially disclosed his father’s diagnosis, mentioning that his dad was in the “initial phases” of the illness.
