Nearly 200 women dressed as Marilyn Monroe created a stir during a Hollywood-inspired charity event held at a beach in County Dublin.
Wearing vintage swimwear and blonde wigs, participants impersonating the renowned movie icon dove into the water at Balcarrick Beach in Donabate for the Marilyn’s Mater Paddle event.
The event held on Sunday, which is in its second year, was organized to raise funds for women’s cancer care at Dublin’s Mater Hospital.
The aim was to raise money to help the hospital accelerate cancer diagnoses, improve treatment options, and offer top-tier care to women across Ireland who seek their services.
