Miss England has hit back at Miss World bosses after they released video footage of her seemingly enjoying a dinner in
India
where she said she felt forced to ‘act like a prostitute’.
Milla Magee, aged 24, dramatically withdrew from the Miss World beauty contest as she alleged that she was forced to

when they express gratitude for receiving funds.
The lifeguard hailing from Newquay, Cornwall, had traveled to Hyderabad on May 7th for promotional activities surrounding the finale of the contest. However, they soon understood that their presence was solely meant to draw attention.
She stated that she was supposed to spend the whole night sitting with the men and keeping them entertained. She expressed her belief that this was both ‘unacceptable’ and ‘inappropriate,’ leaving her feeling uneasy about the circumstances.
As a reply, the organizers of Miss World uploaded clips of Ms. Magee at the event, showing her seemingly having a great time.

, the Miss World account posted: ‘Miss World Organisation will be sharing raw footage from Milla’s time in India, where she conveys her thankfulness, happiness, and admiration for the experience.’
These videos capture her exact words and feelings, directly contradicting the recently circulated inaccurate stories.
However, Ms Magee responded to the post, stating that she was compelled to follow instructions.
“I’m stunned that Miss World has published videos of me from the hotel without my consent; these clips create a completely misleading image,” she said to The Sun.
The truth was that I felt unhappy and couldn’t remain to back the Miss World organization.
I felt taken advantage of for having to converse with those dignitaries during dinner events, and one of the competition’s officials actually clapped in my face after informing both me and the other girls that we were uninteresting.
At first, she attributed her sudden exit to personal matters, and Miss World chairman and CEO, Julia Morley mentioned that the management showed compassion towards her situation and facilitated her journey back to England.
Although Mrs. Magee mentioned her mother recently experienced a health issue, she used this as an excuse to head back home.
She stated that participants were instructed to wear thick makeup and formal evening dresses throughout the day—from early morning until late at night—even during breakfast—and were constantly displayed at events solely to attract wealthy sponsors.
She stated that the experience left her feeling “like a prostitute” who was “being rented out for entertainment.”
When she tried to discuss her humanitarian efforts, she often encountered disinterest and uncomfortable chatter instead.
She said that after the event, one guy called her ‘dull.’
Unable to handle the disorder, Ms Magee called her mother sobbing, expressing that both she and some of the other participants felt they were being taken advantage of. Eventually, on May 16th, she informed the organizers that she intended to withdraw from the contest altogether.
She promptly returned to the UK, abandoning her crown and the contentious contest.
She became the first Miss England in the contest’s 74-year history to step down from her position.
Ms Magee is the daughter of Katrina Russell, who was originally from Oasis and also the best friend of Meg Matthews, Noel Gallagher’s first wife.
Ms Russell played a crucial role in managing the band during her time at Creation Records, significantly contributing to Oasis’s rise to fame approximately three decades ago.
Ms Magee, who created history as the first plus-sized winner of Miss England last year, has been enthusiastically advocating for improved CPR education via her ‘Go Far With CPR’ campaign. This initiative has garnered support from the Prince of Wales.
She believed that the Miss World stage would enhance her cause.
However, she mentioned that she came across an occasion that seems stuck in time, unchanged since the 1960s and 70s, and shows minimal consideration for contemporary values.
She mentioned feeling pressured to fit in, with it being evident that if she didn’t comply, winning the competition would be out of reach for her.
Her place in the forthcoming finale — which will be aired across more than 180 nations — will instead be taken by Miss England first-runner up Charlotte Grant, aged 25, who currently holds the title of Miss Liverpool.
MailOnline has reached out to Miss World for their input.
