The series “Lupin” made its debut in 2021 and features Omar Sy, Ludivine Sagnier, and Clotilde Hesme.
The series sees Assane Diop (Sy) take inspiration from the tale of fictional Arsène Lupin and becomes a thief.
According to the summary, he aims to seek vengeance for his father due to an injustice committed by a prominent family.
Developed by George Kay and François Uzan, Lupin has allegedly garnered an impressive 99,500,000 streams since its debut on Netflix, with viewers consistently praising it throughout the years.

Up until now, the drama series has run through three seasons and received nominations for both the Golden Globes in 2022 and an Emmy award.
A fourth season is on the horizon, with filming already underway in Paris, as reported.

Even though Lupin earned an impressive 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, the series hasn’t won over every viewer.
A reviewer commented on the platform: “Omar Sy playing Lupin is quite appealing, however, the plot twists come off as highly implausible… and occasionally downright nonsensical.”
It seemed promising due to the high-quality production values, but the plot lines were absurd.
