following her disclosure at the beginning of this month that
she was compelled to undergo an operation
to have her appendix removed along with 14 lesions
a result of her endometriosis
Doctors additionally had to fix a hernia she developed four years prior during delivery.

Taking to Instagram
Robert posted a picture of him and Bindi in their khaki Australia Zoo uniforms. He commented, “Glad to see you rising, Bindi. You tackle each challenge straightforwardly, move forward confidently, and motivate us all.”

Bindi left a comment saying, “Taking it one step at a time. Extremely thankful for all your backing. You guys rock.”

On the same day as the Steve Irwin Gala, Bindi revealed she underwent surgery. She shared a video and a lengthy statement on Instagram, which read: “I am so thankful that I got the help I needed with Dr. Seckin and Dr. Chu at Lenox Hill Hospital. After having a grumbly appendix, I finally had to seek help the day of our Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas.

“I consulted with Dr. Seckin, and we agreed that if I flew to New York, he could also check for endometriosis again. Surgery was a success. My appendix was removed, along with another 14 lesions (after having 37 endometriosis lesions and a cyst removed two years ago). I also had a repair to a large hernia I acquired through childbirth four years ago.”


She went on, “Fortunately, I’m well on my way to recovering. I want to express my gratitude for all the thoughtful messages I’ve gotten and for the backing of our event in Las Vegas. Big thanks go to Robert for organizing the night; he really excelled at fundraising and spreading awareness for Wildlife Warriors.”

Special thanks go to my family for their constant support. My heart brims with affection for beloved Chandler and darling Grace. Mom, your presence throughout has been invaluable. Rest easy knowing we’ll meet again at the upcoming Steve Irwin Gala in Brisbane this November. Let’s take each day as it comes. It’s time to focus on healing now.
