It’s not a staged show! O’Clery has stated that although certain speed dating events are organized by the production team to provide opportunities for the cast members to meet new individuals, the core of the series stays true to real life.

Kaelynn Partlow
, who touched our hearts during Season 1, set the record straight with an explanation in an Instagram post from April. She chuckled as she recalled, “The only instance where I recall receiving direction was when they missed capturing a scene perfectly… say, if I descended the staircase but the camera wasn’t positioned just right. Then, I’d have to climb back up and start over again.”
What Was the Inspiration Behind ‘Love on the Spectrum’?
Prior to presenting this captivating series, O’Clery and Holden concentrated on tales of individuals with disabilities looking for jobs. As O’Clery eloquently expressed, “Throughout that journey, we encountered numerous people on the spectrum… The narrative of folks desiring to find love and wishing to go on dates repeatedly surfaced.”
