MMA fighter Choo Sung-hoon donated 1 million won to a Japanese international student.
The MBC variety show that aired on the 29th, “Save Me!” featured Homes, the second-in-command of the global village section who departed for Osaka, in the second part of his journey.
Choo Sung-hoon and Joo Woo-jae traveled to Avenogu, Osaka, upon being invited by Korean students. The international students’ residence was situated in a quiet neighborhood.

They also shared, “I currently reside in a place near the cooking school I attended. Previously, I lived in a cramped house, thus finding accommodation with a more spacious kitchen became essential.” The rental cost for this new dwelling amounts to 440,000 won per month.

Choo Sung-hoon was deeply disappointed that the international student’s residence didn’t have a television. Choo Sung-hoon asked, “Aren’t you into watching TV? You really ought to get one because there are many things to pick up from cooking shows,” and Joo Woo-jae remarked, “It seems like you were quite sympathetic towards your brother.”
Choo Sung-hoon abruptly asked the manager to fetch his bag. After receiving it, he promptly retrieved his wallet and offered the international student 1 million won, which equates to 100,000 yen, stating, “This should be useful.” He then added earnestly, “Since you’ve come here to study abroad, I trust you’ll put more effort into your studies now. All I could do for you was provide some money since there wasn’t a television available,” infusing his words with genuine concern.
