Rainoil Limited has granted a monetary award of N5 million along with a comprehensive scholarship covering education up to the university level to 16-year-old ChineduNwali, recognizing his exceptional artistic depiction of a Rainoil fueling station.
At the Rainoil Summit Station in Asaba, which serves as the capital of Delta State, the Group Managing Director of Rainoil Limited, Dr. Gabriel Ogbechie, awarded the check to the recipient on Tuesday. He expressed that the corporation takes great pride in the remarkable ingenuity demonstrated by the young individual.
He stated, “We are immensely proud of Chinedu’s skill. The design he created embodies both the visual essence of Rainoil and the deep enthusiasm and respect associated with it.”
It’s uncommon to encounter such remarkable ability in someone so young. Our intention was not only to reward him financially but also to assist with his educational journey. Therefore, we have decided to provide a scholarship that will fund his schooling right through to university level.
Despite numerous youngsters engaging in negative activities, this young boy chose to invest his time in crafting something incredibly intricate. His dedication makes him an admirable example for other children.
We aren’t merely providing him with a scholarship; we’ll stay connected with Chinedu to ensure he remains enrolled and nurtures his abilities.
The CEO of Rainoil affirmed that the organization will keep showing commitment to community progress and youth empowerment by honoring creativity and fostering educational advancement amongst Nigerian youngsters. They also motivated other young individuals to remain dedicated, similar to Chinedu, and steer clear of negative behaviors.
Chinedu’s creation drew the attention of Rainoil’s Group Managing Director, who was greatly impressed with both the ingenuity and accuracy evident in the young artist’s artwork.
An SSI student named Chinedu Nwali, who was left speechless by the award, mentioned that he had long been a admirer of RainOil’s brand and service stations. This admiration motivated him every time he passed one of their stations to develop a prototype.
He recounted how his brother Emmanuel helped raise funds to create an intricately detailed and creative model of a standard Rainoil station, aiming to capture the attention of the station manager.
During his speech, the Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Emma BazimChinye, praised the young person’s inventive abilities, stating that the boy’s creations were divine gifts and assured further backing for him as well.
