Actor and presenter Nadeem Jaffri reflected upon what he viewed as societal ingratitude towards artists: “In our culture, recognition often comes too late—only after they have passed away do we appreciate them fully.” Speaking further on behalf of friends across the film sector, he emphasized, “Our cherished colleague will be sorely missed.”
Jibran T Siddiqui highlighted Furqan’s passion for arts and his home city, noting, “Karachi held a special place in his life—he embodied everything beautiful about this metropolis.” Recalling Furqan’s early career beginnings via PTV where he swiftly demonstrated extraordinary abilities, Jibran remarked poignantly regarding the evening of March 24th—a date forever etched into everyone present here tonight—as being particularly memorable due to lessons imparted by Furqan emphasizing selflessness above all else.
