The renowned Nigerian entertainer-turned-singer, Nasboi, has initiated an extraordinary 36-day “kneeling tour” throughout Nigeria, aiming to seal a musical partnership with the Afrobeat sensation Davido.
The performer, who gained prominence by imitating Davido’s vocal style and gestures, mentioned that he had been attempting for half a decade without success to catch the attention of the musician.
Now, he’s literally taking his passion to the streets by knelting in front of government buildings across all 36 states of the federation.
Nasboi initiated his unconventional campaign on Wednesday by visiting the Osun State Government Secretariat, where he held up a sign asking for a verse from Davido. By Thursday, he had been seen kneeling at the Kano State Government House.
Posting on Instagram, Nasboi shared:
