Soo-jin, who is married to Lee Dong-guk—a ex-member of the national soccer team—voiced her worries regarding their son’s chosen professional direction.
Lee Soo-jin, who departed for Germany with her children, shared an image of herself with their youngest child, Sian, on social media on the 1st and commented, “My little champ ~ ♡ Soccer seems like quite a rugged sport! Can you manage? Since seeing my international friends play soccer, it appears one needs more than just footwork. Perhaps learning some martial arts, boxing, or even judo could be beneficial. To triumph, one must tackle the game aggressively—roughly, fiercely, and intensely. Are you up for that challenge?” This comment reflected her concerns.
He stated, “I usually prefer playing golf, so what do you say we go for a round? Every time I’m here watching soccer, it makes me reflect quite deeply on the game.”
Lee Dong-guk’s son, Xi’an, possesses remarkable athletic abilities due to inheriting his father’s genetic traits. He excels not only in these but also in bowling and golf. Additionally, Lee Soo-jin mentioned, “I enjoy various types of ball games.”
Previously, Lee Dong-guk had spoken about how much his son Sian enjoys playing football.

The family traveled to Germany with the intention of supporting his father, Lee Dong-guk. In Munich, Germany, where the ‘2025 GATORADE 5v5 GLOBAL FINALS’ tournament is set to take place, Lee Soo-jin affirmed their local backing, stating, “For the third year running, let’s come out victorious at the Gatorade 5v5.”
At the same time, Lee Dong-gook wedded Lee Soo-jin, a previous title holder of Miss Korea, and they have a family consisting of one son and four daughters. These families garnered affection in the past from their appearances on KBS2’s show ‘Superman Is Back’.
