The Kano State government has declared that all primary and secondary schools will have an extended holiday for Eid-el-Kabir starting from Wednesday, June 4, 2025, until Monday, June 16, 2025.
The announcement was issued in a declaration signed by Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, who serves as the Director of Public Enlightenment at the Ministry of Education.
Nevertheless, residential students are required to return by Sunday, June 15, 2025, so they can be ready for complete class schedules starting from Monday.
The parents and guardians of resident students have been asked to collect their children by early Wednesday morning, June 4, 2025.
