The chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, stated that fostering a business-conducive atmosphere is central to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s vision. These comments were delivered during the opening event of the COTHM exposition held at the Expo Center on Saturday.
Addressing a varied crowd, Rana Mashhood highlighted that Pakistan is achieving significant progress in development and presenting a favorable stage for businesses spanning every sector. “More than just an exhibition, this event offers a preview of the future we aspire to create for Pakistan’s industrial expansion,” he stated.
He praised COTHM for effectively providing an internationally recognized platform and bringing advanced global food processing systems to Pakistan. “This move is essential for our agriculturally driven economy as it helps synchronize local food production and processing standards with those at an international level,” he emphasized.
Emphasizing the magnitude of the event, Rana Mashhood mentioned that participants from over 200 nations are attending, with direct involvement from more than 30 countries. He further explained, “The exposition presents a novel approach to food processing, which is critical for demonstrating Pakistani agricultural products on a worldwide stage.”
He praised the organizers and cordially greeted the participating firms and international guests. ‘COTHM has demonstrated how collaborations can uplift our sector and showcase Pakistan’s genuine capabilities, innovations, and tech prowess,’ he stated. Rana Mashhood further highlighted the accomplishment of the national aim Bunyan-um-Marsoos as a significant landmark achieved honorably. ‘Our next focus is attaining global prominence—in information technology, science, art and culture, farming, and particularly food production,’ he asserted. Concluding his remarks, he expressed optimism about Pakistan’s trajectory. ‘We are now confidently advancing along the correct course. By God’s favor, this journey promises great achievements.’
