The Kano State Government has declared the Eid-el-Kabir vacation for all primary and secondary schools throughout the state.

Dr. Ali Makoda, the State Commissioner for Education, announced this information on Sunday through a statement released by Mr. Balarabe Kiru, who is the Director of Public Enlightenment at the Ministry of Education.

\u200eMakoda said the holiday begins on Wednesday, June 4, with boarding students observing the break until June 15.
Students are required to come back on Monday, June 16.

The parents and guardians of residential students have been requested to pick up their charges on the morning of June 4th.

The commissioner stated that all remaining components of the 2024/2025 academic schedule will stay the same, with all official holidays unaffected.
