KOD made an impressive debut at the grand opening of Despite’s opulent car museum on June 1, 2025. The ceremony was notably attended by His Royal Highness Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Donned in an elegant long-sleeved lace top combined with pristine white pants and polished black footwear, KOD stood out at this prominent event, honoring Ghana’s vibrant automotive history.
During an exclusive interview with GH Hyper, KOD shared how his interest in music and media was ignited through his initial interactions and work alongside Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
Recalling his teen years, KOD mentioned,
I previously sold compact discs and cassettes for Despite at Daddy Lumba’s store. This job during high school exposed me to the music business and set the groundwork for my future career.
I played a relatively silent role during the early phases but was simultaneously employed at Radio Gold. This employment kept me from participating publicly.
Watching his progress is astounding, and I lovingly call him Bra Osei. This really exemplifies the inspiring success stories that arise from Ghana.
