In an unexpected disclosure, actor Daniel Etim-Effiong shared the story of his path to eternal love with his wife Toyosi, which surprisingly started with disappointment and snubbing from another woman.

Etim-Effiong shared that he was prepared for marriage, but his girlfriend at the time was not, preferring instead to concentrate on her studies.
I believe two factors converged to ready me for marrying my wife. During that phase of my life, I was exhausted from juggling multiple relationships. However, I did have a girlfriend then, and I informed her that “I feel prepared to tie the knot,” yet she wasn’t on board. This occurred when we were in South Africa; she wasn’t from Nigeria.

I expressed to her my desire to tie the knot, but she felt unprepared. She mentioned her intention to pursue graduate studies in the U.S., and she didn’t wish to, for want of a more suitable term, feel shackled. This left me feeling let down, wondering what exactly she meant.
There were countless activities we could have enjoyed together. Back then, I was prepared to take the plunge into marriage. Whoever spent time with me during that period needed to respond to the query, ‘Are you up for getting married?’ Just as I proposed to my girlfriend back then, but she turned me down.
The partnership concluded, and destiny promptly intervened for the performer as soon after the sentimental aftermath, he headed back to Nigeria for a movie assignment which

Toyosi was responsible for. Following a brief discussion with her, he was astonished to discover that she also felt ready to commit and didn’t dread the talk.
When I returned to Nigeria for a project where my wife was serving as the production manager, our paths crossed again. Prior to this moment, we had communicated remotely, but meeting face-to-face happened only after we were both in Nigeria. This was her initial assignment since moving back from New York. Our encounter led us into deeper conversations; during one such discussion, I expressed my desire to marry, and she agreed saying, “Let’s go ahead.”
