The host presented the season’s trophy to both the contestants and Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught, yet things did not unfold as intended.

The large and sturdy construction made entirely from Lego blocks started to shake, posing a risk of falling as Hamish rolled it along on the movable platform.

Ryan swiftly noted that the trophy seemed to be losing its struggle against gravity as Hamish kept pushing it out.

“Hey mate, if that hits you, it’s going to hurt,” he cautioned, causing Hamish to become hysterical.

“I won’t smash your trophy, Brickman!” he retorted, even as he ceased pushing it away.

The program went to a commercial break once the statuette was stabilized and the segment could resume, with the trophy now securely in place.

The star of Lego Masters has
has been sharing the screen with Hamish for the past seven years on the popular Channel Nine game show.

At the brink of the debut of Lego Masters’ seventh season titled “Grandmasters of the Galaxy” – Ryan
spoke openly about the experience of collaborating with Hamish.

Speaking to
Nine
, Ryan acknowledged that instead of showing any diva-like behavior, Hamish has consistently been remarkably authentic.

“I’m not at all surprised by his humor, since he remains the same person off-camera as he is on-screen. Thus, there’s no discrepancy from that standpoint,” Ryan stated.

He’s simply very authentic; he remains the same person all the time, which makes it quite simple for me to show up at work. To be completely frank with you.

The renowned LEGO figure mentioned that when they initially met eight years back, they clicked right away, sharing unsettlingly parallel pastimes and passions.

“While I approach creativity with Lego from a professional standpoint, and he is clearly known as a comedian and media personality, we both ride our bikes daily to and from the studio,” he explained.

‘We share a love for football and enjoy playing golf together. Many activities we participate in overlap, making our bond quite effortless. Additionally, our senses of humor are remarkably alike.’

Clearly, the chemistry has effectively made its way to the screen as Lego Masters has turned out to be a significant ratings success for Network Nine.

The final episode of the 2024 series attracted a nationwide audience of 1.9 million viewers—a number that stayed fairly steady across the entire season, with the opening episode drawing in 2.2 million spectators.

After it was disclosed that Hamish is one of the nation’s most highly compensated television personalities, Ryan offered his enthusiastic support.

The Australian’s TV Rich List, published this week, ranks the comedian as third among the top 35 most highly compensated celebrities, with earnings of an impressive $2 million.

He falls behind his Nine network peers Scott Cam, earning $2.4 million, and Karl Stefanovic, who leads with a staggering $2.8 million.

Nevertheless, the Brickman does not appear on the list, with the lowest-ranked celebrity being 60 Minutes journalist Amelia Adams, who earned $300,000.
