“I am grateful for the chance to pray at Kedarnath Dham alongside my family. May Lord Shiva grant us the fortitude needed to accomplish our goals for Viksit Bharat and Viksit Delhi. I trust that Baba Kedar will provide me with the power to serve in the betterment of Delhi,” stated the Delhi Chief Minister following his visit to Kedarnath Dham.
On Sunday, Chief Minister CM Gupta immersed herself in the sacred waters of the Ganges in Haridwar and made a pledge to cleanse the Yamuna River, allowing others to perform their rituals as well. She also visited Swami Avadheshanand Giri Maharaj at Harihar Ashram in Haridwar.
CM Gupta expressed her feelings: “There’s an overwhelming sense of happiness. The administration marked 100 days since coming into power yesterday here in Delhi. We performed Aarti by the Yamuna river last evening; then, following my ritual bath this morning in the Ganges, I strongly believe that progress in Delhi will accelerate from now on. After receiving guidance from Guruji today, I’m experiencing renewed inner strength along with a profound duty towards service. For decades, Delhi faced numerous challenges but under new governance, it falls upon us collectively to foster growth.”
She continued, praying earnestly, “May it happen just like hundreds of thousands of pilgrims flock annually to venerate the Holy River Ganga in Haridwar—let the cleansing process begin similarly for the Yamuna so everyone may partake in spiritual bathing.”
