I see this whenever I find myself offering guidance to my daughters just as she would have, or reconnecting with my brother Craig, or sharing meals with Barack. Though physically absent, she remains very much here,” she penned.
Michelle shared that grief has been challenging for her, acknowledging that there are still days when she experiences intense emotional distress.
“On some days, the sense of loss washes over me repeatedly, much like waves crashing down. Other days, her resilience empowers me and keeps me afloat. But mostly, I feel grateful for having had the opportunity to learn from her,” she went on to say.

Moreover, she urged those who were mourning to cherish the love and life lessons left behind by their dear ones.
“You’re sufficient just as you are, and I’ll contribute some of my personal touch too. You’re adequate due to all the love and knowledge bestowed upon you by others. Even when they aren’t here, their essence shines brightly through you,” she clarified.
While Obama was in office, Robinson resided at the White House with his family.
