Kathure gives sharp object to hubby
Speaking to

, Kathure claimed her husband had been threatening to harm her for some time, but she never imagined he would act on it that night.
I expected this situation to be similar to previous instances where he claimed he would harm me. I discovered him sleeping with a high school student. Though not reacting furiously, I insisted on getting explanations from him. Ever since the arrival of our second child, his behavior had significantly altered. He started consuming illegal drinks, using khat, and smoking.
That evening, he requested a panga and a jerry can to replenish the paraffin, mentioning he needed to step outside. He instructed me not to lock the door, stating he wouldn’t disturb the children upon his return at a later hour. As he departed, he was sharpening the panga—little did I realize then that this would be the night I barely escaped with my life.”

Around 11 pm, she got the kids to sleep, even though they didn’t eat as there wasn’t any food in the house.
As soon as I lay down, my spouse quietly entered through the slightly open doorway. Upon noticing movement, I raised my arm to shield my eyes from the flashlight’s glare and questioned his entry without announcement. In response, he merely stated his identity and rebuked me for posing pointless inquiries. Subsequently, he reminded me of an earlier warning—that he intended to end my life.
As I continued to shield my eyes, I proposed that we pray. In response, he swung the panga at my hand. Instantly, my hand became numb, prompting me to cry out for assistance. At this point, he delivered another blow, striking my face. Intending to silence my screams, he targeted my mouth; however, his strike landed on my eye instead.”
Kathure thanks God for rescuing her
Kathure stated that her spouse subsequently punched her on the head, aiming to strike either her other eye or her neck.
He kept assaulting her, striking her stomach and leg, resulting in severe injuries for her.
“I had no sensation in that leg at all. I believe I even blacked out—I nearly passed away right then. However, now I’m alive and well because my Creator rescued me,” she remarked with a grin.
