The funeral service was held at her countryside residence in Tala, drawing big crowds that gathered to pay tribute to the woman’s life and heritage.
At the funeral, the preacher spent some moments contemplating the influence Cucu had exerted within his ministry and among the members of the congregation.
During an emotional homage, Kanyari spoke to those gathered, offering his sympathies and contributing a substantial sum to support the bereaved family.
“I conveyed my heartfelt sympathies to the family and community of Shosho Agnes, who was greatly cherished in Njiru… Here’s Ksh 40,000, and others will contribute additional funds to reach a total of Ksh 100,000,” he stated, eliciting applause from those present as he presented the money to her relatives.
Nevertheless, what touched many viewers the most came afterward. As reported by TikToker Kawira, who is closely associated with the preacher, Kanyari not only used his words but also took concrete actions such as covering all the hospital expenses and welcoming Cucu’s children into his care to ensure their ongoing support.
