Jimmy John’s is launching the summer season with its inaugural new cookie flavor for this year.
The sandwich chain launched its Lemon Sunshine Cookie at participating outlets across the country on Monday, and this dessert will be accessible ‘throughout the entire summer.’
The lemon-infused cookie adds a ‘ray of sunlight’ to Jimmy John’s menu items and includes white chocolate chunks.
“Summer is all about vibrant tastes and enjoyable times, and our Lemon Sunshine Cookie excels at providing both,” stated Kate Carpenter, who serves as the vice president of marketing.
‘It’s daring, vibrant, and beautifully encapsulates the cheerful essence of the season. We’re thrilled to introduce our guests to a novel taste that genuinely embodies summertime.’
Over the years, Jimmy John’s has significantly expanded across the United States and stands as the country’s biggest privately-owned delivery sandwich chain.
Boasting over 2,600 outlets, it continues to expand without showing any deceleration and consistently generates above $2 billion in yearly income.
It’s also a major rival to Subway, the biggest US sandwich chain that has shut down several locations.

Despite Subway facing challenges, Jimmy John’s has been expanding and establishing new outlets globally.
Last September, the sandwich franchise inaugurated its inaugural outlet beyond U.S. borders in El Salvador. The parent firm, Inspire Brands, referred to this event as a key driver for the brand’s international expansion.
A month later, it made its entry into the Asian market with the inauguration of a site in Seoul, South Korea.
After its Korean eatery launched, the franchise returned to North America and debuted its first restaurant in Canada.
The most recent restaurants outside the U.S. opened at the beginning of this month in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The renowned Galadari Food & Beverage Division is managing the operations of the Middle Eastern eateries.

Jimmy John’s hasn’t disclosed any additional summer promotions as of now.
Nevertheless, fast-food franchises have started introducing fresh and reintroduced menu items, alongside special time-limited offers.
