McDonalds
The TikToker speaks to his viewers at restaurants.
“Does this surprise you?”
…
“personally, not me. […] We’re eating human meat. […] We’d actually be cannibals.”
In the comments, despite the presence of skeptics, numerous individuals believe the story to be genuine.
But hang on
It is accurate to say that the
ClearLabs
study exists, the reason behind the presence of “human meat” in fast food is far less shocking than suggested. Published in 2016, the study revealed that three cases of rat DNA and one case of human DNA were found among a total of 258 burger samples. It concluded that
“although unpleasant, the presence of human or rat DNA is unlikely to be harmful to human health”
…
However, overall, the existence of both human and rat DNA might suggest subpar quality and irregularities in sanitation procedures.
Furthermore,
ClearLabs
points out that
Even though our tests can identify human DNA, they do not provide information about the precise origin. It is probable that this occurred due to an accidental inclusion of a hair, piece of skin, or nail fragment during the manufacturing process.
The distinction is significant between genuine human flesh in a steak and just a minuscule amount of human material accidentally mixed into a hamburger.
